The Four Corner’s premier winter festival featuring a light parade, scavenger hunt, spellerbration, bicycle roller race, foosball tournaments, pool tournaments, kid’s follies, costume ball, polar bear plunge, and so much more. Every year we celebrate with a different theme.

All the chocolate your heart desires. Sponsored by Rocky Mountain Chocolate, Fort Lewis College and local restaurants and caterers. Festivities take place at the Fort Lewis College Student Union Ballroom.
Durango Independent Film Festival
Late February through early March.
Commited to film literacy and art, this unique festival feature unique work from independent filmmakers around the globe as well as locally produced films. Bringing the best in independent film to the Durango community. Visit the website for showtimes and locations.
Durango Bluegrass Meltdown Mid May

Bluegrass music takes over Durango for the weekend, in three indoor venues in the historic district, and in restaurants and bars throughout town. Even in coffee shops, hotel lobbies and street corners... jamming musicians are everywhere. This small, well organized festival is a favorite for many of the performers.

Celebrate wine in 50+ establishments in downtown Durango. All net proceeds go to a local non-profit, changing annually. This year the benefits go to The United Way of Southwest Colorado.

Iron Horse Bicycle Classic

Weekend-long bike festival featuring the famous road race from Durango to Silverton, tour to Silverton, time trial, criterium races, cruiser crit, veloswap, live entertainment and more.
